Guiding People to Financial Fitness Through Education

SWMCDC offers a series of classes designed to help people make strategic decisions about how they spend their income. Participants learn how to establish (or rebuild) good credit,  avoid scams and predatory high-cost loans and credit cards, set financial goals and make spending choices that separate ‘needs’ from ‘wants’. Attendants learn how to:

  • Establish credit and rebuild good credit
  • Avoid customer scams
  • Create a savings plan
  • Prepare for homeownership and other long-term goals
  • Identify needs and wants, how to makespending choices and set financial goals

 

Youth Financial Education

Regardless of your income, job, or where you live our workshops can help you get on track to build family financial security and wealth. You will learn to improve your money management skills and better manage you household budget.

 

Financial Boot Camp for Youth

It's never too soon to get your kids thinking about managing their money.

 

Financial Coaching

One-on-one sessions targeting specific issues around budgets, identify theft, and repairing credit.

Financial Capabilities

Classes are designed to help individuals and families re-build, repair and establish credit; budgeting, and savings to pay down debt, save for homeownership, purchase car, etc.

When: Tuesdays 6:00pm – 8:00pm for 4 weeks
(includes personal coaching session with credit report)
